MAPIX IS an acquisition software

MAPIX is the acquisition and control software for the InnoScan scanner range.

It provides researchers with full access to all acquisition parameters, including laser power, PMT sensitivity, and focus settings — ensuring optimal signal capture for every slide.

Thanks to real-time signal monitoring, users can assess data quality during scanning and make immediate adjustments if needed.

The intuitive interface is designed for both routine and advanced users, with presets that simplify setup and batch management tools that streamline high-throughput workflows. MAPIX supports various output formats (TIFF, JPG, TXT), allowing easy integration with third- party analysis software.

Its flexibility makes it suitable for applications ranging from research microarrays to clinical- grade diagnostics.

With MAPIX, InnoScan users benefit from a robust, reproducible, and fully traceable acquisition process.

It is a key component of the InnoScan platform, helping laboratories ensure data quality and

operational efficiency at every step.

MAPIX IS an Analysis software

MAPIX Software is a powerful and versatile image analysis solution designed for microarray data processing. Whether your images come from an InnoScan scanner or any other compatible device, MAPIX ensures seamless integration and high-performance analysis. Its open architecture supports a wide range of image formats, making it an ideal choice for multi-platform workflows. At the core of MAPIX lies a robust gridding engine based on standard array layout file (eg: GAL files for GenePix Array List files), allowing the software to accurately map and analyze virtually any microarray layout, even highly customized or irregular slide patterns. With MAPIX, users benefit from precise spot detection, flexible background correction, and reliable quantification, regardless of the scanning hardware used.

Focus mode

No matter the surface deformation of your sample, MAPIX has the right focus strategy to image it perfectly.
Use fixed focus for flat surfaces like microfluidic devices or electronic chips.
Switch to real-time autofocus to capture surface signals while tracking slide irregularities.
Or, for thick specimens or samples with varying focus levels arranged in complex 3D matrices, let MAPIX generate a smart focus map based on your sample’s content.

Acquisition mode

MAPIX software adapts to all situations and offers different acquisition modes: manual, automatic, and XDR.

Choose the mode that best suits your sample, to deliver fast results without saturation
