InnoScan 710-G & 710-R

InnoScan 710 RED and 710 GREEN Microarray Scanners

InnoScan 710-G and 710-R – Microarray reader

EASE OF USE, SPEED AND IMAGE QUALITY
Characterised by its ease-of-use, speed and image quality, InnoScan 710-G/710-R microarray reader is the ideal tool for routine microarray reading.

Speed
With its patented XY motorisation, the InnoScan 710-IR is the fastest scanner on the market with adjustable reading speed from 10 to 35 lines per second (capable of scanning slides at 10 μm/pixel in less than 4 minutes).

Reliable and traceable results
With a barcode reader, InnoScan 710-G/710-R microarray scanner provides accurate control of acquired images. InnoScan 710-G/710-R is supplied with a validation slide and associated Mapix software that verifies scanner performance.

Routine use
InnoScan 710-G/710-R is a low cost, portable scanner capable of reading medium density microarrays at a maximum resolution of 3 µm/pixel.

Technology

Microarray scanners laser confocal

Confocal detection

  • Optimize fluorescence detection
  • Assure good focalization all along the scan
  • Less background
  • SNR is increased by 2.5 times
Microarray scanners laser autofocus

Real-time autofocus

  • Detection idone through a spatial phinhole
  • Follows the slide movement and deformation in real time during the scan
  • Avoid all out-of-focus signal
Microarray scanners laser barcode

Automatic barcode reader

  • Reliable and traceable results
Microarray scanners laser slides

All standard microscope slides format

  • Glass
  • Nitrocelluose coated glass
  • Plastic
  • Silicon wafer
  • Gold coated glass
Microarray scanners dynamic range

Dynamic range

  • From > 104 to >106
  • Detect the lowest signals avoiding saturation.

Applications

Protein arrays are widely used in labs in order to study protein functions and interactions involved in different cell processes. For example, kinase arrays allow the study of the activity of protein kinase.
